SEA Guitar & Thai Guitar Association: establishing good diplomatic relations
On 14th, Octorber 2015, SEA Guitar formally established diplomatic relations with Thailand Guitar Society in Bangkok – Thailand. SEA Guitar representatives had cordial meetings with representatives of Thailand Guitar Society (TGS) – Mr. Worratep (founder and president of TGS) and Mr. Ai (Music composer lecturer of the Faculty of Music, Chulalongkorn University).
Representatives of two schools have discussed and agreed the plans for cultural exchanges between the students of the academies, organize guitar festival, promoting several awards to encourage people to learn classical guitar.

About Thailand Guitar Society
Thailand Guitar Society (TGS) is the trustable and prestige guitar society in Thailand which has many experienced and prestige guitarists. They have performed in many festivals, possessed more than 20 years teaching experience at Universities, music schools and master-classes held on over the world. Thailand Guitar Society’s professor representative:
Leon Koudelak (1961) is Czech classical guitarist. He has toured internationally in most parts of Europe, Asia and the America. He is also the co-founder of the Liechtenstein Guitar Festival (Ligita), the Asia International Guitar Festival (AIGF) in Bangkok and the Pattaya Classical Guitar Festival.
Woratep Rattana-umpawan (1969 – Bangkok) is Thailand classical guitarist. He is the founder of the Thailand Guitar Society and the Asia International Guitar Festival, Bangkok. Woratep is the first famous Thailand classical guitarist (accredited internationally) who has performed at many International Guitar Festivals. He set great influence on the younger Thailand guitarists.
